Exercising through Pregnancy

2.5 hour interactive workshop.
May 30, 2020 at 10:00-12:30p @ Electric City Mixed Martial and Fitness in Anderson, SC.

  • Optimizing the use of the core and pelvic floor
  • Mindset beyond listening to your body
  • Signs you should remove an exercise
  • Basic lifts (squat, deadlift, push press, etc) and movement patterns (pull-ups, pushups, etc) and how and when to modify
  • Modifying or substituting exercises in the group setting
  • Impact exercise and cardio training
  • Exercise modification for SPD and SI pain
  • Each workshop includes a packet of the information covered, coach feedback on movements covered, and access to a private Facebook group to ask questions and connect with others!

Return to Running and impact exercise Postpartum

Female Athletes Core and Pelvic Floor Workshop

If you are female who works and want to know about all or some of the following, then this workshop is for you!

  • Do you want to learn more about using your core and pelvic floor during lifting and exercise?
  • Do you want to hit new PRs?
  • Do you want to learn more about not peeing when you work out or PR?
  • Do you want to learn more about ditching the weight belt for lighter loads and only using during 1-3 rep maxes?

Core Fundamentals: Core and Pelvic Floor In Exercise

Sundays at 3:30 p

6 week class, March 22-May 3, 2020 (NO CLASS Easter Sunday, April 12)
April 25, 2020 at 10:00-12:00 p @ Green Heart Awakening in Pendleton, SC

  • This is a 6 week class in activating, relaxing, and retraining the core and pelvic floor muscles for exercise.
  • We will workout with focus on these areas, and you will learn more about them.
  • Each week you will receive "homework" exercises to help you strengthen and progress.
  • Each week we will progress our exercises.
  • This is perfect moms from 6 weeks postpartum* to 60 years postpartum.
*Just make sure you have the go ahead from your doctor or midwife to resume exercise!

Personal Training

Personal training $30-$50 a session depending on package.
Personal training sessions will be held at Electric City Mixed Martial and Fitness in Anderson, SC unless other arrangements can be made.

August- September back to school special:
Purchase 10-30 personal training sessions for just $25/1 hr session!

Game Plan for Pregnancy

  • Includes 1 hour meeting to discuss goals and create a general game plan for each trimester
  • Check in (1 hour) each trimester with in person movement assessment for major your training movements
  • Text/email Availability to help with questions modifications and observe movement via video
